PROJECT RUNWAY PHILIPPINES

So it's  5pm and i'm at a 2nd filming for the show... taping the designer's as they fit garments on the models. I found myself in a lovely silk dress with a nice bias cut. little did i know this would not be my outfit for the show but a couple changes away from what i will be walking with on the big day. This regularly happens as the designers need to find the best model fit (aka a coat hanger) for the garment. With only four designer's left and a coule of months before the season finale, the heat is on. My designer is nel, an extremely talented young man utilising plastic and different types of fabric into his designs. I had my eye on a few of his pieces but especially the garments constructed with this use of plastic which had then been detailed and implemented into his designs so fluidly. I was very excited to be working with such a designer who's creativity seemed to be boundless, who thought plastic could look so intricate and elegant? Well nel seemed to nail it, tre's eco chic, j'adore! the big day came for the final runway to take place in a lovely venue, rehearsals, dress rehearsals, makeup, hair, lots of waiting and production crew filming here there and in between. With hair and makeup sponsored by loreal and all shoes sponsored by infamous shoe designer michael antonio, i knew this was where i was meant to be! like every fashion show i do, i get quite excited. I loved my dress, it was so elegant, i felt beautiful walking in it. to me if a dress makes me feel that way than it's a keeper! Upon leaving the venue i got an adorable little gift bag containing a prp's jewellery box. super love!
